Hi Guru's,
I need to know how can we create our own Archiving objects like standard objects(FI_DOCUMNT type),and how can we link them to different tables.
We have lots of 'Z'tables in our database, and they have lots of data that can be archived.
To archive that data i need to create new archiving objects.
kindly guide me for the same.
Thanks & Regards,
Nipun Sharma

Hello,
Yes, you do need to create the actual archive object within AOBJ, but you also need to create the relevant archive write and delete programs. SAP has provided the archive object EXAMPLE that you can use to help you create your own archive object. There are also 3rd party software programs such as one that is provided by PBS that will build your custom archive objects for you.
