Updating calculated fields

Hi all

I am building Vendor Master scenario.

In that I have added two calculated fields which are taking values depending upon the value of third field that is imported.

The problem is, updation happens only once when i edit the formula of calculated field and load the repository again.

However, next imports onward, calculated fields do not get updated even if value of deciding field changes.

Is it a bug in MDM 5.5 SP03 or do I have to do some settings??

Can anyone suggest some solution for the same??

The solution which you suggested is working fine.

but my problem is:

I am working on finding data duplications when impoting data records.I have set some rules.

For every rule i am populating Match Rate field with some specific value.

My requirement is when i import the data, depending upon value of Match rate field , values of two calculated field ie. MatchType and MatchGroup should get updated.

however its happening only for first import rule.

but for the rest of the rule those calculated fields are not getting updated. I need to recalculate them through data manager manually.

do you have any solution for this problem.

Hi Sheetal,

You can recalculate calculated fields in the Data Manager.

Select the records, right-click and there's a menu option to recalculate calculated fields.
