Hi Guys,
I have a mapping question which Iam trying to solve.Have reached a point where Iam stuck.
Would appreciate it if someone could give me some guidance on this.
Have a source and target structure as depicted in the following figure:
Iam only referring to the field where I have problem.

In the second figure(see attached link below:)
Iam trying to map "TDFORMAT" to "TDFORMAT" when "TDID" in source is "Y005".
In the target structure ,I duplicated the node "E1EDTK1" using context menu function and in the data editor created the nodes "E1EDKT1" and "E1EDKT2" using node functions.
The above statement is just for information.Because when I test the mapping I see the both the created nodes.
But the "TDFORMAT" FIELD is not appearing under the Node "E1EDKT2" on testing. That the problem where Iam stuck.
If you look into the dataeditor in the second picture for the mapping of this field
TDID and TDFORMAT has context set to E1EDPT1.
Why is this field not created .
Thanks
P
Hi,
I am unable to see the images. Probably you could put a screenshot in your thread instead of pasting as a link.
Please try using "SplitByValue" before mapping to the target field.
Thanks,
Jaya

Hi,
If any of the source field has doesn't exist your mapping may fail.Try using "mapWithDefault" after TDID and TDFormat.
And also use "SplitByValue" after removeContext.
Thanks,
Sona

Dont you think you should set the context for TDID also? I cant see its context being raised.....as you have done for other source node....just check the context and test.
