Lost link between UsersID and the Business Org

Hello

Can anyone help me. A decision was made by managers to delete some users which was done by using the delete button in SU01 even though we advised this should not the correct procedure.

Now some users details have been reinstated as it was found they were being SOBO and have orders still in the system. However, now the link has been lost between the Org Structure and the users ID and as we are new to SAP we are unsure how to get the link back between them?

Any thoughts/help would be appreciated.

Hi,

if you only deleted user accounts in SU01 but not the corresponding business partners than I would recommend the following:

- Re-create user accounts via SU01

- Assign user accounts to corresponding business partner via own report

- - use function module BP_BUPA_CREATECENTRALPERSON

- - - specify business partner GUID (see database table BUT000) and SU01 User ID

If you are using SRM 7.0 then you can use the "Assign User Account" functionality at POWL "Employee".

Sorry I just noticed that I did not mention this was for SRP and not ERP.

Hi,

Can you please try to use transaction USERS_GEN. In this transaction you can export all the users and then identify those users for which organization unit is missing.
