Client 010 is not available in this system

Hello experts,

after the system copy I want to finish with the follow-up activities. And there is also a point,

where I should change the connection in the exchange profile.

But if I change the connection, following message appears: Client 010 is not available in this system

Any idea, what did I forget to do?

Hoping for help,

Barbara

I forgot to ask you, which system copy you have done? Is it of R3 or XI? Because I replied considering the copy of R3.

If this was a copy of XI system itself and now you want to use client 001 instead of 010 then in exchangeProfile click on "Connection" Tab and change the client.

It was the system copy of SRM 5.0, where XI is running on client 001.

In the productive system, it also points at 001, and I still want to use 001.

I don't know from where the system get's client 010.

Under connection I entered 001, but the error message appears in spite of this.

Thanks for your help, it works now. I don't know exactly what the final reason was... but it works.

Hi,

You have to basically look and do the changes at below mentioned areas

1. Check in client 010 by using tcode SLDAPICUST is it points to you XI system

2. Cheeck in client 010 by using tcode SXMB_ADM and see if this system has been set as your Application Server and also the RFC destination points to XI server.

Hi Sarvesh,

thanks for your answer. The problem is, that I do not want to use client 010 as

host for my exchange profile. I want to use client 001.

I checked the data of SLDAPICUST in both of my clients - it points to the SLD

I also checked the SXMB_ADM

Which RFC-destination points to XI exactly?

Any other ideas?

Thanks a lot,

Barbara
