CCMS Auto reaction fails ...ACTION_FAILED

HI Gurus,

I have setup auto reaction method for the availability of systems but i am not getting any email alert ....only getting ACTION_FAILED

in alerts and fatal_error. However when i am putting DDIC as sender it works while other user as CCMSADM its action getting failed. Please help me ...

I have few doubts here :

1. Which user should be used as sender in the parameter tab. ( I have been using a different user CCMSADM as sender in clnt 100)

2. is the configuration client specific or user specific.

3. Where to check the logs for ACTION_FAILED or if method fails..

4. What all jobs needs to be scheduled in the CEN (with clnt number ) and managed systems for the autoreaction to work.

Please help me with this very urgnt.

Hi,

You can be sending emails with any id. just ensure that the ID being used has the correct authorization.

The settings are client specific.

Also, Jobs include;

SAP_CCMS_MONI_BATCH_DP

SAP_CCMS_CENSYS_EVENT_REPEATER

SAP_CCMS_CENSYS_DISPATCHER

I have made the auto reaction method for system availability.

ZCCMS_OnAlert_Email

Execution TAB

Execute method on

the Local server of the MTE to be processed.

Control TAB

Periodically in Dialouge Process ( short running program)

Parameters TAB

SENDER CCMSADM

Recipient id

RECIPIENT-TYPEID U

Release TAB

Autoreaction method
