Company with Plants in multiple countries

Hello,

I was wondering if SAP supports/recommends a organizational structure with one company code and plants in multiple countries? ... or is it better to have a separate company code for each country?

Hi,

Its better to assign the plants to a company code in the respective country. This will be helpful for tax postings. You can do the Intercompany Business Processing for stock transfer or sales.

Hi Anisha,

Go through the basic SAP SD then you will came to know the definition of company code.

Independent accounting unit Which creates only to follow the accounting laws of that particular company.

Now if you will make one company code then which country rules and regulation it will follow. THINK ABOUT IT!!!
