Hello,

We have a number of jobs failing because they are scheduled under a deactivated user..

The job name is: /BDL/TASK_PROCESSOR

Now, I belive (but would like to confirm), To change the user name for this job, would I follow the following procedure?

1. login as the new user

2. tcode sdccn

3. goto -> settings -> task processor

4. deschedule

5. schedule

I know these jobs are not done in SM37, but just want to make sure I'm not missing anything...

Thanks guys

Richard

Dear Richard,

While Jared has answered your question, I just wanted to make sure that while the job /BDL/TASK_PROCESSOR is not scheduled in SM37, the job status can be checked there, and the job logs can be reviewed in SM37 as well.

I just wanted to be clear since your statement "I know these jobs are not done in SM37" wasn't too clear.

Hope this information has been helpful.

Regards,

Paul

Hey Richard,

You are correct. To change the user, the steps required are what you listed.

To deactivate and reactivate SDCCN with another userID.

Logon with userID that you want to use for SDCCN jobs.

-Deactivation: SDCCN-> Goto -> Settings -> TaskProcessor

Switch to change mode and push 'Deactivate' button and save.

-Activation: SDCCN-> Utilities->Activate

activate SDCCN in local? -> Yes

Create SDCC_OSS -> No

After this, please check the job scheduling and job user of

/BDL/TASK_PROCESSOR to ensure successful reactivation.
