Copy prices from one quotation to another

Hi Pricing Experts,

I have a scenario where pricing "Basis" from condition A of quotation 1 has to be copied to "Basis" of condition B of quotation 2. Both these quotations have different pricing procedure. Copy control is maintained between these transaction type and item category. How can this be achieved?

When prices are copied from one document to another, can Amount and Basis both be copied from one document to another? In this case pricing procedure in these documents are different.

Thanks

Yes it is possible.

1: You need to have a Alternate Condition Base value formula in your Quotation 2 , pricing procedure for condition B.

2:In quotation 1 pricing procedure give some sub total for the Condition A(make sure the sub total is already not used in your pricing procedure)

3: In the logic of the formula, if there is a preceeding document and if the preceeding document type is a Quotation , then read the sub total of the Quotation 1 Condition A. Then the base for Cond B in Quote 2 will be from Cond A of Quote 1.

Hope this helps

Hi Sai,

Thank you for your valuable input. As many conditions were required to be copied in follow-on document, we have built a condition mapping table to achieve the result.
