Process Controlled Workflow

I'm upgrating SRM 5 to SRM 7, and building BRF implementation from scratch. Productive system is running with application controlled workflow (SRM 5), although in development and quality system we are already running process controlled workflow (SRM 7).

My question is what will happen with the SC that are under a approval WF process (SRM 5) and we switch the system to SRM 7 with BRF implementation ? Is there a quick way of restarting the WF?

Hi,

If you switch Application-Controlled Workflow to Process-Controlled Workflow, new documnets are handled by Process-Controlled Workflow and already created documents are handled by Application-Controlled Workflow.

If you need to restart old workflow you can use the program /SAPSRM/PR_WF_MIGRATION_CFG. Please test in Dev system before you switch it in production system.
