ECC Add On ECC-SE Support Pack Hangs

0 Kudos

Hi All,

I am aapplying support pack patch 01 on ERP 6.0 EHP 4 system after installating the Add-On ECC SE.

But the Support Pack is hanging for days now. Even restarted the system and restarted the SPAM but that's not helping.

Support Pack is hangign at Phase XPRA_EXECUTION

Checked the import logs and the error there was :

==========================================

Under Method Execution->

Program terminated (job: RDDEXECL, no.: 15381500)

See Job logs

Job Log Job started

Step 001 started (program RDDEXECL, variant , user ID DDIC)

All DB buffers of application server xxxserver148079 were synchronized

The current transaction was reset

Job also cancelled due to process termination. See the system log

Job cancelled due to system shutdown

Execution of programs after import (XPRA)

End date and time : 20100427100024

Ended with return code: ===> 12 <===

===========================================

But in SPAM the STATUS is not Error Stop or else ..there the stop watch is running and message Execution of Reports After PUT

SLOG

=============

STOP tp_getprots MD1 R 20100427100749 101995 xxxserver48079

STOP EXECUTION OF REPORTS MD1 R 20100427100749 101995 xxxserver148079

START EXECUTION OF REPORTS MD1 R 20100427100957 DDIC xxxserver148079

START tp_getprots MD1 R 20100427100957 DDIC xxxserver148079

===============

Based on this SLOG info i tried SAP note 71353 symptom 2 and checked the status of Active jobs .Only one job is active RDDEXECL

Also tried SAP note 954792 and changed profile parameter rdisp/bufrefmode profile to value sendoff/exeauto ..but that also hasn't helped.

Pls suggest.

Regards

Ajay

Hello Ajay,

What is ECC-SE release. Please note it must be 604 in case of ERP 6.0 EHP4 systems. First let us know what you are tring to install. The error you are facing is generic and doesn't help in understanding the problem!

Regards.
