VL02N - VL365 & VA01 - V4081 : Message Pop Up

Hi,

Message VL365 appears at the bottom in Delivery Creation T/Code VL01N as u201CCheck the Notes in the Logu201D ; but we use VL10C where this message gets hidden due to VL10C being background processing ; so how can it could appear in VL02N.

Similarly, how can we make: Message V4 081: needs to appear as a Pop-up : T/Code VA01 : for Order Creation ?

I have heard of transaction OVM1 and OVAH ???

Thanks

Ankesh

Hi

the above message will not come automatically in VL02N. You will have to check the message log in VL02N, go to EDIT --> LOG. If there is nay message in log then system will display the log --> the symbol just in the right hand side of HAT symbol will be active with red triangle, else it will be in deactive mode. So this indicate that there is some message which user must check. Otherwise as the message VL 365 is of Error Type so you would not be able to do the PGI.

Similarly, how can we make: Message V4 081: needs to appear as a Pop-up : T/Code VA01 : for Order Creation ?

You can not make any particular message appear in Pop-up through customisation, through ABAP you may do so. However for n User you can make Warning or Error message appaer in Pop-up, instead of coming at bottom. To make any message to appear as pop-up go to :- SAP Easy Access -> ALT+F12 > Options> Options --> select the messages Check Box as per your requirement.

Some of the messages can be controlled through customisation. So you can control the VL message type in OVM1, and V4 message type in OVAH. You can select whether a message of above said class will be of Error Type or Warning Type.

Hope this will help you.
