There is no job for this....we have to do settings in Tcode SCOT to receive alerts as emails....for more information refer the blog on this topic by Pravesh Sharma

You can either have alert in Alert inbox or as an email!

Did you see this blog: /people/pravesh.sharma/blog/2009/07/02/configuration-for-forwarding-alerts-as-emails

All the settings are mentioned.....in SU01 we maintain the email-id for a user (then this user is used in ALRTCATDEF....in absence of the settings in SCOT this email id wont have any effect.....also once this is done we mark an indicator in RWB alert inbox as to how the alert message is to be send (to Mail/ SMS)....having alook at the blog will help.

Regards,

Abhishek.

Dear Vamsi,

Please follow the below steps:

Steps to be followed:

Enter T Code SU01, enter the User ID and goto Display. Under the Address tab, assign the Email Id of the recipient of the alert.

Enter T Code SCOT for SAP Connect Administration and click on SMTP under INT

Enter the description under General Information. Enter the details like IP address of your Mail Host, Mail Port and Code Page

Under Supported address types, select the check box Internet and click on Set push button next to it. Enter your domain in the Address area as *XYZ.COM, as shown in the below snap shot. Click on continue.

Now Goto Settingsà Default domain and enter your default domain over here.

This completes our configuration in SCOT Transaction.

Goto Alert Inbox in Runtime Workbench and click on Personalization tab and under the Time-Independent Delivery, select the check box Mail.

Now when an error message is generated in XI, an Alert will be triggered in Alert Inbox.

Enter T Code SOST and under tab Send Status, check all sent request sent via Internet to the Email server.

Finally if the entire configurations are done accurately, the alert will be forwarded to the Email address maintained in SU01.

Thanks,

Satya Kumar

Hello,

U have to maintain fixed recipients in the ALRTCATDEF for the particular alert.

This user should have the mail ID maintained in user profile (SU01).

U also have to configure SCOT to send mail to external mail ID using SMTP.

Then u have to shedule the job which will send thsese mail to particular mail ID's.

HI,

i donu2018t ensure wheter you need custome some job to trigger your alert email。 but there is a job (SAPCONNECT ALL SEND) which would try to send email in periodicity.
