no access to the SM Work Center

Hello,

we successfully use the Solution Manager, but without the Work Center.

If i try to access the Work Center with TA SOLMAN_WORKCENTER or URL http://<; host >:< port >/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/ags_workcenter i got a timeout.

Any ideas why i can't access the Work Center.

Hi

Have you activated the workcenter services

via sicf_inst

enter SM_IMPLEMENTATION and pres execute

if not done so you can check the same in spro activity for workcenter

In addition get the workcenter roles as mentioned in the security guide available on SMP

hope it solve ur problem

Yes, you can deactivate the services if you dont need that.

Yes , If you dont want to use , do not activate services as well as not asign workcenter role to any user.
