Hi,
SAP Service named SAP<SID>_<Instance Number> is missing in services.msc
Example :
-
SID = DM0
Instance Number = 01
SAP Service Name = SAPDM0_01
Please help me to resolve the issue.
Thanks in Advance.
Warm Regards,
Sathya
Hi Sathya,
If this service is missing from services.msc, please execute SAPSTARTSRV.EXE from the kernel directory (<drive>\usr\sap\SID\SYS\exe\run). Give the information for the new service and it will be created.
In case this does not work, use SAPSTARTSRV.EXE to first unregister the service and then use it again to register. But I think registering it first time should work in your case.
Try it.
Thanks,
Shitij

SAPSTARTSRV.EXE
Values :
Operation Selected is "Install Service + Register COM Interface + Start Service"
SID = DM0
NR = 00 or 01
Startprofile = D:\usr\sap\DM0\SYS\profile\START_DVEBMGS01_sapserver
User = DOMAIN\SAPService<SID>
Password = ....
Now the SAP Service, SAP<SID>_<Instance Number> is created in services.msc.
Thanks www.sdn.sap.com
