CIF Data concerns regarding APO upgrade 4.0 - SCM 7

Hello Gurus,

talking about APO upgrade, I'd like to ask about a concern regarding CIF Master Data e Transaction Data:

- Is there any problem about CIF master data loosing data by the time we deactivated all planning areas, upgrade e activate again?

- Is that necessary to execute the CIF Initial Load after the upgrade? Could we provide only the CIF Delta.

- Is there any improvement of CIF performance regarding transaction and master data?

thanks for the reply.

Actually, this is really interesting. As far as I could work into 3.0 to 4.1 migration, we've had to deactivate the planning areas (as far as I could check with basis).

Do we have any problems about demand planning data? Coudl you give more details about it?

HI,

If you are doing the liveache upgrade no need to deactivate the planning area ,Simply block the queues in APO .

after upgrade unlock the queues .
