what is the function of " Order with independent item and no order with independent item" in copy control

201 No ord.w.indep.item --> If a delivery was created with reference to a sales order, company policy states that no additional items can be added to the delivery. In order to prevent users from manually adding items in a delivery, this requirement can be assigned to the appropriate delivery document type.

202 Order w IndpdntItem --> If a delivery was created with reference to a sales order, company policy states that additional items can be added to the delivery as long as the delivery has not yet been invoiced. This requirement can be assigned to the appropriate delivery copy rules to permit the addition of new items in the delivery document.

Suppose in copy control you need to assign some other requirement then you can assign these requirement in Delivery type also T-code OVLK

Order with Independent Item : When you process the delivery with respect to order, You can add new material in the Delivery, even if the material is not in the order.

No Order with Independent Item: When you process the delivery with respect to order, You cannot add new material in the Delivery which is not in the order. you will be only allowed to process delivery for materials that are in the order.
