find corresponding comm. channel efficient ?

Hello everybody,

I am testting several XI scenarios. If there is something wrong, I often have to look, if the adapter (communication channel) is running.

My way is:

1) SXMB_MONI --> look for receiver, receiver interface

2) Integration Directory --> find the corresponding receiver agreement --> find the communication channel & adapter

3) Integration Builder --> Adapter monitoring -> Look if the adapter is running

This three steps cost a lot of time!

Is there a more efficient way?

You can directly check the status of each message in RWB.

Goto RWB->Message Monitoring->Choose Adapter Engine/Integration Engine and Display. If the message has failed on Adapter Engine then you can choose the failed message and click on 'Details'. In the details popup choose 'Audit Log' tab to see any errors in your communication channel.

RWB

--> Message Monitoring

--> Select Component Ex: <is.00.ServerHost> and Display

--> Give startdate enddate in Filter area

--> from Configure Table Columns select the message

--> click on details

--> a new window, called Message Display tool will appear

--> Click on Message data.

--> You can find the Error Category and Error Code

then you can go to the corresponding component and rectify your error.

Component Monitoring

--> Adapter Monitoring

--> U can see your communication channel status.

This is the way to monitor the run time activities.
