IBM AIX RISC System/6000 Error: 28: No space left on device

Dear all,

While connecting to database through connect /as sysdba I am getting the below pasted error

ORA-09945: Unable to initialize the audit trail file

IBM AIX RISC System/6000 Error: 28: No space left on device

Any suggestions?

is /oracle filesystem full ?

Problem resolved

/oracle/SID was full.

My mistake, I should have looked at it earlier.

- was the system working before?

- are the shell limits for the user set correctly?

- are the kernel parameters set correctly?

- is your filesystem full?
