Hello Experts,

While creating a Sales order for Order Type OR, i'm getting an error which says "No item category available (Table T184 OR 0001 )". In the field Item Category, it is blank. Kindly help me solve this error.

Hi,

Maintain the right Item category group in MM and in tcode VOV4 check your assignment for your 0001.

0001 is defined for Make-to-order.So kindly maintain the same in the Material Master > Sales Org Data 2 -Item category group.

Now in VOV4 , assign the Item Category Determination for OR+ 0001+ Blank + Blank = TAN.

Hi,

Item Category Determination-

Sales Document type + Item category group + Usage + Item category of upper level item.

Sales Document type u2013 OR

Item category group - 0001

Define item categories (transaction VOV7).

Assign item categories (transaction VOV4).

Define item category determination in deliveries (transaction 0184).
