how we will track the deleted file in sap xi

hi all ,

i have one scenario that is File to Idoc

in this scenario we r using java system and sap system

the file is pick from java system to xi .in xi that file is stored in data pool and then pushed to sap system .but in b/w (sap xi and sap R/3)there is a problem cases an error.so that file is deleted from data pool in xi.how i will get that file and resend to sap system

in the sender file adapter, create the mode as ARCHIVE and menntion the ARCHIVE directory where you want the file to be stored.

instead of delete you can use 'Archive' option in the file adpter. Once picked the will get deleted and archived to specified directory. In case of error you can simply reprocess the archived file.

HI suresh,

Instead of deleting your file you can archive it. Just choose option archive instead of delete.

This way you have your original file in case anything goes wrong.
