dear expert
can you explain how fi-sd integration works
vicky
hi ...
sd fi intergration points are those areas where you need to know the tit bits of FI...
these are places where you would need the help of the FICO consultant to configure ,,
few exammples SD-FI integrations are as follows.
1. defining organisational units like company code, credit control area, business area
2. customer acc group and number ranges
3. taxation
4. cin cofigurations
5.credit management (credit control area, risk catagories, credit limit to the credit master)
6. revenue acc determination
7.costing
etc
every part where you would need the help of fi people is an integration point

Hi Vikas,
SD module can not function in isolation. It means it is integarted with FI, MM, PP, PS etc as per client requirements & to run SAP.Suppose you created orders, delivered and billed it. Now this billing document update and post relevant Debit and credit entries in Customer and client ledger . Hence its SD-FI integartion.Again incoming payments is posted against this invoice in FI..

Rajesh
