can anyone pls tell me how to check error log while accessing srm 7 thru portal. i get error llike exception raised with exception iD XXX...

Hi,
You can check portal logs by going to NetWeaver Administrator. You can access the NWA using the follwoing link,
Once logged in go to Monitoring-->Logs and Traces. Under logs and traces you have the options for checking dofferent logs.
