Hi,

while sending data to ECC for MATMAS idoc, passing data for alternative unit of measure segment.

From ECC side each time expecting MSGFN function for that segment for create, change and delete.

In MDM once we delete any record, dont have option to send deletion flag as MSGFN to ECC.

Does anybody comeacross this issue.

How to handle the MSGFN field in segement for create,change and delete case. we are using 005 as MSGFN for replace each time. how to send flag for deleation case.

Hi,

I would suggest not to delete any record from MDM. Rather create an extra field in the repository and Mark value in this field as "deleted".

Now if any record from MDM needs to be deleted, change value of this field to deleted and accordingly map value in MSGFN function.
