GUID is displayed on end user screens in drop down menu

Gurus,

Can anyone explan how to fix some drop down menus that display some type of GUID for the user to select, in place of the number the user needs to see? An example is the selection of the FTO in customs processing when you are processing import prior to goods receipt. It forces a drop down selection of FTO, but the user is presented with a long string of numbers, followed by the name (but not the number) of the FTO's that can be selected. Any way to replace the GUID with the FTO number to help the users save time and be more accurate in their selection?

Hi,

i think you have activated "Display technical names"....

go to EXTRAS -> Settings and de-activate the selection....

Thanks. Is there any way to display the FTO number in this list? Does anyone know why GTS forces 2 selections of the FTO before being able to create a customs dec (before or after GR)
