Dear all,
More than 95% of dialogue work processes are going in PRIV mode
The extended memory in ST02 is 100% full
Nobody is able to do nothing
Below pasted are the values from the instance profile
ztta/roll_extension 4000000000
rdisp/wppriv_max_no 1
zcsa/db_max_buftab 10000
sap/bufdir_entries 6000
rsdb/obj/large_object_size 16384
rsdb/obj/max_objects 4000
rsdb/obj/buffersize 8192
rsdb/ntab/irbdsize 9000
rsdb/ntab/ftabsize 45000
rsdb/ntab/entrycount 30000
rsdb/cua/buffersize 6000
abap/buffersize 600000
zcsa/presentation_buffer_area 6600000
zcsa/table_buffer_area 30000000
ztta/parameter_area 8000
auth/auth_number_in_userbuffer 9000
Any suggestions?
Also post information about em/initial_size_MB
Very low information in your post .... DB on same host or separate, how much memory at all, any over applications on same host? Regards.

Dear Sergo,
Yes I am on Unix and this is a central system. Apologies I shoud have mentioned this earlier to avoid any confusion
Since the said parameters are de-activated, there is no impact of them but when they were active their value was 512
To De-activate--> Open the instance profile in change mode in RZ10 then click create parameter then enter the desired parameter to de-activate and hit enter. After that click parameter --> deactivate..... thats it. Save and activate the profile and re-start the server

And in st02 now extended memry in In mem[kb] shows ?
If you check em/initial_size_MB parameter in rz11 ,how much it shows ?
P.S. how much memory you have in a box? As you have central system, how much you give to DB?
check the storage in st02 --> detail analysis menu --> storage
post the Virtual memory allocated and Maximum heap area for all work processes
Regards.
Dear all,
Problem was with the following two parameters: --
em/initial_size_MB = 512
em/max_size_MB = 512
De-activating these 2 parameters in instance profile, solved the problem
Thank you all
Would like to add some more here just in case if anyone wants some more details: --
If a Dialog work process has used its quota of Extended Memory (EM) defined by parameter ztta/roll_extension OR all EM has been used up by all the other work processes (em/initial_size_MB), then the task starts to allocate HEAP up to quota (per work process) of abap/heap_area_dia.(this is PRIV mode).
To investigate, check out the dev_w* trace file, to check which program cause work process go into PRIV
Also, follow what Markus has suggested
You can try to set rdisp/wppriv_max_no to prevent this kind problem.
Exmaple: If you set it as 5, will limit only 5 work processes go to PRIVmode.
Please also update your kernel patch to latest version, if you haven't done so.

As you post in UNIX forum the em/max_size_MB are not work for you at all(only for Windows),
can you explain what means De-activating ? Check in rz11 how much em/initial_size_MB parameter now ?
If it very big (example are set to all memory available on server) it may end in tears (for OS need to reserve memory),
and do not forget about any other application on this server(for example if is Central System, the DB memory must be calculated separately).
On UNIX you need to set this parameter correctly becouse there is no dynamic change of the extended memory ....

Please check using SM04 which user is occupying all the memory and ask him to quit his transaction.
How much memory do you have in that machine?
What are the values of the parameters
abap/heap_area_dia
abap/heap_area_nondia
abap/heap_area_total
