Forecast consumption alerts

Dear Gurus

Are there are alerts in APO that can dynamically alert against forecast consumption? We run SNP and PPDS in APO, but not GATP. SAP Help indicated that there is a demand exceeds forecast alert - I have tried using the ATP alerts in AMON1, (Forecast Check; shortage) but they do not seem to work.

The business requirement is to report where the forecast has already been consumed by Sales orders.

Hi Elamobel,

Macro-dependent alerts are one option, if the standard alerts are not meeting your requirements.

Macro-Dependent Alerts are different from the standard delivered alerts because they refer to customer-specific issues where, for example, a demand forecast falls short of, or exceeds, a customer-specific key figure. You can also assign your own defined status messages to individual macro steps. These are displayed as alerts in the Alert Monitor.
