mopz - EHP4 selection technical usages

Hello,

I'm going to install the EHP4 in our ECC system and i have found that I must change the system type from ECC 6.0 to ERP, in order to achieve the sctack file. The problem is that my instance is already assigned to a Charm project and to a solution and when I try to change the logical group the system doesn't allow me to do it.

How can I change the system from ECC to ERP when I have the system already configured in the solman?

As a workaround I have created a new system, but when I try to select the technical usages of the EHP, I found some usages not active, and I can't select them.

Hello,

The issue is that to be able to select a given technical usage, the relevant product instances must be declared in SMSY, as relevant or 'also installed' in the 'selection of main instances' tab.

Note 1165438 has some attachments which illustrate the mapping between technical usages and the needed product instances in SMSY. I know that it is a little tricky to make sense of the files in the note, but all the information is there.
