Hi Manisha,
It is looking very strange. But still try to do following may be helpfull.
1. First activate your smart form after declaring the variable in Global definition. Then try to drag n drop from Field list
2. Or else click on Editor tab of Text node, Then Goto-> change editor (You will get a editor same as Sapscripts)
put the variable like that:
HT : &W_TOTAL-MASSG&
Try this. Best luck...

You have to go to se38 and run the program RSCPSETEDITOR.
Uncheck Smartforms and activate.
The problem is that MS word does not accept fields to be dragged and dropped from the field list.
Hene, MS-Word has to be disabled as the default text editor for smartforms.

I'm not able to understand your issue. As per my knowledge, you can display the global data or text editor one at a time by clicking on them. The drag and drop functionality is there in Adobe forms where we drag the necessary item from interface to context area.
Anyways, you can try the insert fields button to enter variables in the graphical text editor.

Hi Satyajit,
Its correct that we can have both global data and text editor at a time just by clicking on them. Now from global data we can just drag the variables or system fields and drop it in text editor so no need to write them manually.
By writing the fields manully in graphical text editor my smartform is working fine.
I was just trying by above method.
Thanks,
Manisha
