Sales item copy in contracts

Dear All

We have requirement from cliet to have functionality of copying the entire item detials available in sales order document for craeting anew line item.

For example 2 line items with item number 10, 20 available in sales order. they want to add new item , now new item is same as that of lien item number 10. only one of the Varaint characteristics value is differnet. As new item is same as that of item nuber 10 they want to copy all deatisl of Item number 10 into item number 30 anc chnage only few fields if required.

Is there any fucntionality available in SAP on item to item copy.

Hi,

It's not available in R/3.

But SAP has included that functinality for IS - AFS solution.

It's available in AFS Item overview tab with 2 button option as copy and paste. You can highlight a line item and press Copy button then using Paste button you can add same line item again and again.
