hi all,
i was trying to delete the software component,but i am not able to delete the software component,while i was trying to delete i am getting error like You can't delete the software component version when user xyz still has a change list open for it.

Hi,
First u need to delete developed objects.Just select u r object and right click on it will give options.just u select delete options.Once u complte the deleting options then u have delete Namesapce in the SWCV Using Option .Then activate it in Change list.

go to change list tab, select user "-all-" open all lists you find and look for the SWVC in it.
Transfer the list to your user, activate or reject it.

Hi AV,
This error means in xyz user's chnage list this software component is stuck.
You first have to delete it or activate it from that change list and then try deleting the software component.
For deleting SWC, first double click on it, yo will see the screen for it opened, then go to toolbar---> Software Component Version --> Delete.
