Hello All,

We are go live having a production PI system. Now, customer wants to build a sandbox which should be the duplicate of production system. Now, what is the best way to copy prod to sandbox to achieve this?

Thanks

I guess a JAVA system copy would copy SLD and all content - if not

check out the SLD Planning Guide at

it might provide some options to move content from one SLD to another - particularly if you want subsequent

updates to go between the SLDs

Please be aware of two things

1) SLDs are interface dependant and rely on connections between satellite or client and SLD

- you may need to adapt these connections if you want a similiar useage or connections in the target SLD landscape

2) If you build an SLD from another SLD - all updates must come from the original source

- don't mix import lines

3) It is may not be possible to point one client or data supplier to more than one SLD at the same time - check the

Planning Guide options if you want to do this

Best wishes

An entire System copy. Or do you want something else?

SLD maintenance is important as per your SLD landscape architecture.

An entire system copy including SLD and everything. It should be just the duplicate of prod system.
