Business partner table update(BUT000)

Dear SRM Experts,

unfortunately busniess partner last name was updated wrongly in table BUT000. We are searching to find function module to update this table. Could you anyone telll me is there any function module to update this table. Data is coming from ERP to SRM through IDOC.

Can we reprocess sucessful IDOC to update thist table again.

Hello,

You have multiple options:

1. Use transaction BP, search the BP number & update the last name. It will reflect in BUT000.

2. In portal, SRM administration tab - Employees querry, Select your BP & click on Edit. Make the required changes.

3. Run the PFAL in update mode for this Person.

how can change it using BP transaction.

i am searching the path you specified ,,but i could not found it in portal..

You can also try to use BAPI_BUPA_CENTRAL_CHANGE to update the Last name for the business partner.

good news is we updated the table in production in debugging keeping mind complexity of resending usr profile from back end system. Thanks for your co-operation.
