Dear All,

I have been trying to synchronize the SC dependencies in CMS. I have done the below so far:

At SLD side:

1. Defined below SC dependendies for CRM Customer Project 7.0 version

1. SAP_JEE

2. SAP_BUILDT

3. SAP_JTECH

When I check in SLD, it is correclty showing the components as *pre-requistes"

At CMS side

1. Defined below SC dependendies for CUSTCRMPRJ as below:

1. SAP_JEE

2. SAP_BUILDT

3. SAP_JTECH

But when I do "SC Synchronization" with Accept SLD Definition option, still the CUSTCRMPRJ software component is not showing the above 3 depencies!

When I do "SC Synchronization" with Accept CMS Definition option, it shows the above dependencies with yellow status.

Can anyone please help me on this?

Your help will be highly appreciated!!

Please do not hesitate to ask if you need any more informaiton.

Regards,

Faisal

Hi Faisal,

Please also check the SCA for below component are placed in CMS/inbox directory in server location or not.

1. SAP_JEE

2. SAP_BUILDT

3. SAP_JTECH

If not, then you must put those SCA file in the CMS/inbox directory.....You can also check under Check-in tab >> Customize .....

Hope it helps

Hi Faisal,

did you do an "update CMS" after you defined the dependencies in SLD? You defined them as "build time" dependencies right?

I understand it this way, correct me if I understand wrong you defined the dependencies in SLD and afterwards in CMS?

My advice would be: Only define dependencies in SLD. Update CMS afterward, so the changes are visible in CMS. Use sync SC dependencies with accept SLD definition to get your SCs "green"

Have a good time
