Port forward on SAProuter?

Dear Experts,

I'm trying to set up a HTTPAccess connection for SAP support via saprouter.

From us to SAP everything seems to work fine. The other direction has problems...

Our saprouter is behind a router with firewall. My collegue claims that port 3299/tcp is open. I guess saprouttab file is OK aswell. But when I'm telneting the router <external ip> 3299, it gives me connection error.

What have we missed? Do we have to forward the port to our application server?

kind regards,

Vit Vesely

Is your saprouter configured on port 3299? When you connect from inside to that particular host on 3299, do you get correct response then? Are you using a NAT address on that machine? Does the network guy sees anything in the firewall log when you enter that telnet command?

Kind regards,

Mark

Hi Mark,

The problem is fixed. It was the forwarding that was missing.

I also the provided wrong URL using the SSL port. Which was not permitted in the routtab

Thanks for assistance.

Kind Regards,
