Hi All,
We are getting a critical problem in our project. We are using standard ESS MSS packages. One employee raised a leave request recently for June 2010 and it got approved by his manager. Later employee raised a Leave Cancelation Request to cancel the leave. But when manager tries to view that request by following path MSS> Working Time> Validate Leave Request, he is getting the following error.
CRITICAL ERROR: Access via Null object reference is not possible, error key: RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE
Please suggest what is the reasons for this.
Thanks & Regards
Pavan

Hi Pavanakrishna,
Please test all the JCO Connection used for ESS/MSS applciations and check whether you are access with correct FQDN or not.
Also check log files for the more details to find the cause in NetWeaver administration http://<host>:<port>/nwa OR Detault Trace log file.

Yes, you can login with your ID if you have administrator access
Hope it helps

Hi,
Please go thr the dev_jrfc.trc
RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE exception, have a look at the dev_jrfc.trc files. These files are written by JRFC and can be found in the directories j2ee/cluster/server* of the J2EE Application Server Installation
Thanks,
Sreeni
