Dear Siddharth,

QM order comes in picture when you use COQ (cost of quality). This is created to collect the cost related to quality. There two main costs related to Quality

a. Appraisal cost : this cost is cost of inspection checking etc.

b. Non conformity cost : This is cost as a result of non conformity like rejection and returns etc

Both these costs are collected to QM order and then settled in CO module.

Hi Sidharth,

This is completely related to cost of inspection.

you need to create manual order to capture the cost of inspection

you can read SAP help and understand the scenario.
