I have the 2004s preview edition of NetWeaver from sdn.sap.com installed and running on a Windows Server, and I would like to add the Exchange Infrastructure component.
I could not find any XI downloads from the SDN site, and I don't have the Master Installation DVDs, but I do have access to the Service Marketplace downloads for XI.
Would someone please provide me some guidance as to which files I need to download, and how to run them, or if this is even possible?
Thanks in advance,
Ross
Hi Ross,
There is no Sneak Preview for XI till now.
But you can look into Installation Guide-

Moorthy,
Thanks for the reply. So, it looks like I need to have the ABAP engine installed as well - from what I've read the Preview NetWeaver 2004s is just the Java engine.
So, is it better to do a fresh install of NetWeaver WebAS with both ABAP and Java engines (and XI if possible), or is there a way to add ABAP onto the Preview version?
My apologies if I am asking this in the wrong forum. Is there another forum dealing with installs?
Thanks,
Ross
Hi ,

Am currently working with XI 3 on 2004s, and apart from a few teething problems it's XI 3 in all it's glory! (i.e. the netweaver platform has changed, but XI hasn't).
