Execution of the security optimization self-service

Hi ,

I am trying to execute security optimization self-service

my system

Soft Compont Release level SP

ST 400 0021 SAPKITL431

ST-SER 701-208-2 0005 SAPITLOQ31

checking Note 837490 Execution of the security optimization self-service it is not clear to me how to proceed.

Note says : " open the service session by double-clicking on the corresponding row in the solution manager"

this is a little bit general? or a need to perform some step (transaction) before? ... where can I find the "corresponding row in the solution manager" ?

reading the documentation I found out

+Preconditions:

The system that should be tested needs to be prepared for Early Watch Alert sessions as the Early Watch Alert download is also+

the basis for the Security Optimization Service.

It thought it was optional !!.... now my questions is how can I start the Early Watch Alert on the target system ?

is this something that I do directly on the target system? or it should be initiated from the SolMan System?

I will appreciate some idea.

Please refer to the following documents. They provide information on "How to setup EWA?"

(to be short, you need to create a solution landscape in SolMan system and include the managed system within the solution landscape.)
