PLM 7.0 - views for create material, changenumber , dir

Hi All,

we have deployed business package for PLM wui in Portal and assigned the following roles

- PLM expert

- PCV User

- PCV Administration

Now in portal we can see the following tabs

-Product Engineering

-Product Centric View

-PCV Administration

Now I couldnt find any views for Create / Change Material, Change Number or DIR in Product engineering

I have the following nodes for Material, Material BOM,s Change Number etc

- Search

- My Materials

- Personal Object Worklist

BUT - where do I create a Material?

Hi Aby,

You can find Create,Change or Display Materials in the left hand menu under Services.

When you click on these, the services will open in a separate launchpad.

The problem is I cannot find any of these on left hadn side menu

Only links are to Work Overview, Materials, Documents etc.. These are just one link each, ie, there is no futher drill down in the Material link

We had raised an OSS note and applied patches suggested by SAP and now the issue is resolved..

Hi Aby,

The problem relies on the SP installed on the portal. We had the very same problem, and got solved by deploying PLMWD SP5.
