BUT000 Table entry in Vendor partner

Hi all,

I am not able to get the funda of BUT000 table. How is it filled? is it mandatory to have CRM system for this table to get populated. we are using the ECC6.0 system but not able to see any entry here. We are trying to use the 0BP_DEF_ADDRESS DS for Partner address detail Kindly do let me know the steps involved to get his populated... ASAP.,

Hi,

BUT000 deals with Business Partner.

BP do exist in ECC, CRM, ...

But in ECC a vendor master data relates to LFA1 table and is a master data on its own.

There is relation with the BP.

0BP_DEF_ADDRESS ==> this looks related to BW and Business partner.

1/ Are you trying to deal with vendor master data or with Busines partener

2/ Are you dealing with BW ?

Hi Alain,

Thanks, I am dealing with BW, My requirement is to pull data for the Contact Person address data for Vendor. Where as the 0BP_DEF_ADDRESS DS gives me the data required. But the BUT000 table is required for this DS to pull the data. As of now iam not able to get any data from this DS.

would like to know wether this BUT000 will get filled up only if CRM is active.

Hi Sorry for the delay, I've been quite busy.

Unfortunately I'm not helpful in the area of BW.

But BUT000, relates to Business Partner.

Business partner does not relate exclusively to CRM.

So if BUT000 is really needed, you may try to syncrhonise your vendors with the ECC Business partner and retry.

Be aware that vendor contact persons were not synchronised with BP in the past. This may have changed starting with ECC 2005 Ehp 3 and above.

Before, I guess it is useless to try.
