Hi everyone,

When we try to carryforward documents with transaction FMJ2 this error arise.

Posting date 00.00.0000 is incorrect in item xxxx. Mess Nº F5834

We are using BL, our posting periods are open and we don't have any BADi involved.

Anybody knows why could this happend?

Hello Raquel,

It looks like you are running Carryforward of commitments together with their Budget.

Unfortunately the requirements for using BL is not fully compatible with the Year-End closing operations. If you switch off the budget CF for commitments during FMJ2, do you still have the same error?

Or, should I have misunderstood, please let me know

Hello Raquel, sorry I was not too clear

"Budget CF" means Budget Carryforward

These are the IMG settings I am pointing to:

Funds Management Government ->Closing Operations->Enter Default Settings

See if you have flag 'Budget f.cmmt allowed'

And then, for the value types you are selecting in FMJ2, see if budget carryforward is active or not. You will find it here, if you are using BCS:

Funds Management Government ->Closing Operations->

Closing Operations for Budget Control System (BCS) ->Activate Budget Carryforward for Commitment

settings for Former Budgeting are right above of the settings for BCS, in the same img node.
