Dear All,

When i am trying to login to SAP using SAP GUI, it is showing an error "the local time of the application server is no co". Do I need to change time in database or system time. Can you please suggest me how and what to do to resolve the error.

hi kiran,

you need to synchronize your application server date/time with your database server date/time. If you can login again to your SAP system, you can check your time synchronization by running RSDBTIME (you can user tcode SE38 or SA38).

For more advanced, you can activate NTP service on database server and also activate NTP client (referring to your database server) so that your SAP servers always stay synchronize.

hope this could help you.

As i am getting the error, i am unable to excute that report. And moreover i have tried executing the same report in one of my demo sap ecc server, then it is asking for a access key. As this is demo sap we will not have access keys. So Can you please provide me an alternative solution for this. It will really be a great help for us.

Hi,

You can set and match the Date and Time settings of Operating System on both server.

Then restart SAP, so it will detect and accept current (new) time settings.

After that you will be able to login to SAP.

Once you login to SAP you can run the report RSDBTIME using SE38 tcode.
