Hi All,
We have installed a Web Dispatcher in our SAP landscape to provide http access to the SolMan system.
I have edited table HTTPURLLOC so that the ABAP instance would generate URL's to new address:
MANDT 101
SORT KEY 0010
PROTOCOL HTTP
APPLICATN
FOR DOMAIN
HOST xxx.xxx.LOCAL
PORT 80
In SICF, the "test service" function results in URL not changed, as if the HTTPURLLOC entry wasn't there at all.
I even applied SAP note 1289938 but it did not have positive effect.
Anyone seen this behaviour before?
Any other way to make Solution Manager generate URLs pointing to my web dispatcher instead of standard port 80$$?
Thanks very much for your help,

Hello,
we have also set the HTTPURLLOC in our solution manager and that is working perfectly. But indeed when you run a test service in sicf it is not using it.
Try transaction sm_workcenter to see if the webdispatcher is used.
for
APPLICATN and FOR DOMAIN we have set a *

Hi Samuli,
The following SDN wiki explains how reverse proxies work from an SAP perspective. There is links at the bottom of this page for standard proxy servers.

Pay special attention to the HTTPURLLOC section as this will give you the exact solution you require.
