Profile parameter in Client Copy

Hi all,

Does the maximum work process run time set by the profile parameter rdisp/max_wprun_time apply to the background work process also? If that is the case is there a chance that client copy terminated when the set time exceeds? SAP recommends this to be as 2000 sec. How do we know the time that the tables with huge data will take and set accordingly the parameter?

Hi,

For the time being you can increase the value of rdisp/max_wprun_time parameter for even 5000.

If you are concern about termination of the client copy, I would suggest first do the TEST RUN.

Which will tell you about all the possible poblem that can you encounter in client copy process..

Hi,

As per my knowledge the parameter rdisp/max_wprun_time is for dialog process only. There is no such limit for background process.
