Xming doesn't work with sapinst

Hello,

Xming is installed on WinXP/Win7 and working very well (e.g. visual administrator, configtool). There is only a problem with sapinst. It starts without any error and the windows open, but nothing is clickable.

Any ideas?

I know this issue.. Resize your sapinst window a bit after each entry you need to set and the values pop-up.

Thank you. Do I have to constantly change during the installation the size of the window.

I have tried many versions of Xming, but all with this annoying issue... You can better use ReflectionX. Never had any problems with this one..

Hello,

I had the same error, no input on the screen.

I export the SAPINST_JRE_HOME, and the Input appears, ii works "but the screen is too slow...."

I set all these env variables but it does not work:

setenv JAVA_HOME /opt/IBMJava2-amd64-142/jre

setenv JAVA_BINDIR /opt/IBMJava2-amd64-142/jre/bin

setenv JRE_HOME /opt/IBMJava2-amd64-142/jre

setenv SAPINST_JRE_HOME /opt/IBMJava2-amd64-142/jre

I installed the fonts and it does not work. Resizing the window or maximizing the

window does not help either. I am using Windows 7.

I do not want to use a commercial software. I know x-win32,

reflectionX, Humming Bird Exceed work but they are all commercial products.

Do you have any suggestions?
