Do i have to install SMD Agents to use Wily?

Hi,

just a simple question.

Do i have to install SMD AGents on the Satellite Systems to check them with Wily? Or can i use Wily and check the systems without installing SMD Agents?

HI Bjoern,

You have to install SMD agent on satellite system to work with Wily.

This is mandatory.

HI Bjoern,

I don't think it is mandatory to install SMD Agents to use Wily. Wily Introscope agents can be installed directly on the satellite systems and configured to report to a Wily Introscope Enterprise Manager. If you want to install a Wily Introscope Agent using a wizard from the Solution Manager then you can do it only if there is a SMD Agent installed on the satellite system and connected to the Solution Manager.
