Hi,
I am developing an app that requires a user's SAP ID. I was able to successfully get the required information when the app was deployed directly into EP. I currently get the user ID by using the web dynpro function IWDClientUser. The app is now being hosted from a backend system running a J2EE engine. A system alias has been setup for this app. The portal uses SSO to validate user ID. Is it possible for the app to get the SAP userID even though it is on the backend system. If so how?
Thanks,
Jonathan
Hi Jonathan,
if you use SSO and User Mapping the SSO Cookie should contain both usernames. The EP Username and the Username in the Reference System.

Gregor
