9AVERSION Infoobject

Former Member

Hi

I have a basic question. Now i need to develop a stand alone BI system to be integrated to APO system. In that BI system, I dont find the infoobject 9AVERSION. But I see an object 0APO_PLVERS (APO Planning Version). I am wondering why they are made different in SCM system and BI system, though they have same Admn workbench.

Now can i use this 0APO_PLVERS in place of 9AVERSION in BI system cubes for APO purpose ? and map them to APO cubes in APO system ?

Any suggestions ?

thanks

Hi Venkat,

Yes you can map them. Incase there are any format mismatch, you can use the conversion routine in your transformation or update rule to take care of that.

Hope this is helpful.

Hi Mani

I have not yet done this. Probably i will map both different APO Pl version infoobjects.

Thanks for your help...

Hi Venkat,

In the SAP Supply Chain Management (SAP SCM) Business Intelligence system

(BI system), SAP provides BI Content for simulating the planning services for

realigning the demand history, as well as the regular BI Content for creating

and maintaining the demand history.

This BI Content for the simulation is different to the regular BI Content since the

InfoSources and InfoProviders contain the Version (9AVERSION) characteristic.

This characteristic allows you to create and maintain the demand history based

on the version.

0APO_PLVERS is an infoobject in which 9AVERSION is Field in DataSource

(OLTP Field Name).
