Receiver MAIL adapter setting

Hi ALL,

I have a receiver mail scenario ..

In the mail adapter u2026There is a option Connection Parameter for mail server..And Configure User Authentication u2026I just have the mail idu2019s of the receiver u2026Is there any setting to be done by BASIS team for the URL ..

Who has to provide this URL ..?what setting to be done to send mail using mail adapter ..?

You can create the URL yourself....you just need to know the name of the mail-server....the URL will be

smtp://mail-server_name (if you are using a SMTP server)

Configure User Authentication requires the user-id and password of the user which can access the mail-server.

URL- you can get it from your microsoft outlook.

Hi Raj,

i gave the URL like this smtp://GVW0440EXB.americas.XYZcorp.net

and the user P, Domini Souz and PWD..

i am not getting any mails and i dont see massage in the comm channel monitering for this perticular mail comm channel..

what could the reson... ?

Is the message succesful in SXMB_MONI....if yes then it would have been passed to AE i.e your channel.

yes tht is successfull in Moni ,but i am able to see any message in the communication channel monitering...
